Sketches from LA

Went on a quick trip with my cutie little OT for her conference in Anaheim. I spent the time she was in conference at Crystal Cove in Orange County. I was totally in the zone with my mini watercolors, in the morning, on the water.

Every little corner on the trail to the beach was so picturesque.

I love my little splash behind the rocks. I really focused on my layers with this one. There were so many tide pools, I am such a sucker for those. Definitely should have brought my Fuji gal.

I thought I had one more painting in me but this was nowhere near what I wanted it to be. The sun was hitting me and I was pressed on time. Still fun though!

And of course, I drew on the plane.

Felt okay about this sketch. Took forever, lots of edits I see that are needed. But, as usual, just happy to draw it.
